Last month, I proudly endorsed Gabe Amo for Congress in Rhode Island’s 1st District.
I’ve known Gabe for almost twenty years, and he’s always showed up for Rhode Islanders and our Newport community.
Mayors need partners in Congress who we can count on to show up and deliver help when it matters most. Gabe Amo was often the first call from the White House that my colleagues across the country received when they were guiding their communities through their darkest moments and hardest challenges.
Gabe has served at the highest levels of the government under former Governor of Rhode Island, Gina Raimondo, and in the White House for two Presidents, President Obama and President Biden. Gabe is the only candidate who has proven he has the skills, compassion and connections to navigate Washington, D.C. to deliver for Rhode Islanders on day one.
We need a Congressperson who understands Washington – to deliver results for Rhode Islanders, protect the rights that we hold dear, and to stand up to extremists in Congress.
