John, I’m proud of the progress we’ve made for North Carolina.

We’re making health insurance more accessible for hundreds of thousands of our neighbors by expanding Medicaid. We’re working to connect families to high speed internet and fix roads, bridges and water systems. We’ve prioritized creating a green economy to protect our planet’s future and creates jobs.

But we’re also facing serious challenges at the hands of the legislature’s far-right GOP supermajority. Threats to our public education system and our democracy. Draconian rollbacks to reproductive health care access.

North Carolina needs partners at every level to fight back, and I know that President Biden and Democrats up and down the ticket are with us.

Our state is a toss-up. In 2020, Donald Trump won North Carolina by just 1.3 points. It was his smallest margin of victory anywhere. I’ve promised President Biden that in 2024, we can flip our state blue — but only with your help.
