Thru 6/30: every $1 you give becomes $3 to help save young LGBTQ lives
Dear
Friend of Trevor,
Community is wherever we feel accepted, connected, and safe.
The Trevor Project’s research shows that having a supportive community decreases an LGBTQ young person’s risk of attempting suicide. So, LGBTQ youth-affirming communities make a life-saving difference.
That’s why “Stories of Pride – The Power of Us” is Trevor’s theme for Pride this year. The “Us” is you, me, and every ally uniting to create and connect LGBTQ young people with communities that celebrate, protect, and uplift them.
Your support helps Trevor’s dedicated staff and trained volunteers provide suicide prevention and crisis intervention services 24/7/365. And your generosity will power our advocacy, peer support, public education, and research work, which affirms and improves young LGBTQ lives.
In 1998, we took our first call. More than 1,500 calls came in that first night that Trevor was launched. Now, nearly 25 years later, we are a life-saving force of thousands of staff, trained volunteers, supporters, advocates — and you! — who show up for LGBTQ young people every day.
Thank you! I’m grateful to partner with you in this life-saving work.
Happy Pride!
