An overwhelming majority of Americans on numerous polls have indicated that the debt ceiling increase should have happened only with spending cuts. 

When Republicans introduced the Limit, Grow, Save Act, which would have cut spending while also raising the debt ceiling for critical programs, every single Democrat voted against it. Including my incumbent opponent Kim Schrier.

Out-of-touch politicians brag about out-of-control government spending while it threatens our nation’s security, worsens our economic situation and devalues the hard-earned dollars of Americans!

In less than 48 hours, my end of quarter fundraising deadline will be here. Let’s show every politician who turned their back on the people by escalating our national debt crisis that we are putting them on notice!
