John,

The last few months have brought remarkable results for Family Policy Alliance and Family Policy Foundation, and your support is making an impact.

Just this past weekend, MSNBC – hardly known for balanced coverage – published an opinion piece giving you (through FPA) your second “backhanded compliment” of the month. (The first such “compliment” was from leading LGBT activist group Human Rights Campaign blaming FPA for causing a “national state of emergency” – for protecting kids from radical transgender surgeries and hormones!)

MSNBC wrote:

In February 2021, Focus on the Family’s policy arm, the Family Policy Alliance, along with Alliance Defending Freedom and Heritage Foundation, launched the “Promise to America’s Children,” which claimed to be “a national movement of parents and lawmakers to oppose legislation that harms children” and “to create and support laws that will protect children’s health, safety, and families.” …

A month later, the first ban on gender-affirming care for minors, the “Save Adolescents from Experimentation,” or SAFE Act, became law in Arkansas. The state Family Policy Alliance affiliate, and an alumna of a Family Policy Alliance training program for Christian lawmakers, Republican Rep. Robin Lundstrum, worked together to craft the bill and shepherd it through. As intended by the Family Policy Alliance, Republican lawmakers introduced copycat bills in other state legislatures.

In fact, those policy initiatives – Help Not Harm and Save Girls Sports – were both launched by Family Policy Alliance and are now law in 18 and 22 states, respectively.

Maybe the best part of seeing God’s blessing of results is the way it’s happened—blending each aspect of the work that we do. Take the progress on passing Help Not Harm bills to protect kids from transgender experimentation:

* Since FPA drafted the first legislation a few years ago, this policy has now been elevated to where it is being promoted by the leading Republican candidates for president.

* Many of the bill sponsors around the country are Statesmen Academy graduates whom we continue to educate and support on this issue.

* And the leading advocates in each state are the Family Policy Councils that we serve and equip on this issue and much more.

Elevating policies… Educating leaders… Equipping alliances. You are doing all of that through your support of Family Policy Alliance. Will you partner with us to keep this momentum growing?

For a nation where God is honored,
Craig DeRoche
President & CEO

P.S.      Your support is much needed this summer. Will you make a special donation today?
