Dear Comrade,

Don’t forget that tomorrow, June 28th is our June general meeting at 6pm at the Downtown Akron Library or on Zoom. We will be catching everyone up on the state of Healthcare, Raises, and A Union. The August special election is coming up fast, and we need to mobilize for canvassing and textbanking. We need you to help us reach as many Ohioans as possible so that we can keep Ohio for the Ohioans. We are meet Thursdays at 6:30, so please reply to this email, if you can’t make the general meeting but want to get looped into the campaign.

This Saturday, we are blending our love of socialism and ice cream for Akron chapter’s first Ice Cream Social-ism! Join us at People’s Park in North Hill on July 1 from 4-8p. This is a perfect event for newcomers! If you’re not quite sure what socialism is or why we need to work toward it now more than ever, this event is for you. If you just like eating ice cream and hanging out with friendly people, this event is for you. And if you’re a seasoned veteran of the class war this event is also for you — we’d all benefit from your perspective!
