House Republicans Issue Statement on Passage of LD 1619, the Governor's bill to remove restrictions on abortions up to 9 months

"Maine just veered from a settled law, that is widely supported by its citizens, toward an extreme position that is not shared by most of the world, or the United States. It is very sad when healthy babies that can survive outside the womb at 9 months, can be terminated with no medical or health restrictions."
