It’s been more than a year since a conservative majority on the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, and we’ve seen a pattern: in 20 states where the GOP has power, they have passed extreme laws banning abortion.

So let’s be 100% clear about what will happen if the GOP takes back the Senate.

If we fail, and Republicans take back the Senate and make Mitch McConnell Majority Leader, he will immediately introduce an extreme nationwide abortion ban.

We don’t say this to scare you, but to emphasize just how important it is that Democrats hold onto our Senate majority in 2024. Because our majority is the only thing stopping Mitch McConnell from taking away reproductive freedom across the country.

That’s why it’s absolutely critical that we continue our hard work to maintain and expand our majority, eliminate the filibuster, and codify the right to an abortion into federal law.
