Want to get into politics but never known how? Then our Equal Power workshops are for you.
Hi Friend,
Have you ever thought about becoming an MP but not known where to start? Have you ever wanted to take on a leadership role in your community but not had the confidence?
Then our new Equal Power campaign is right up your street, as it's a ground-breaking initiative to transform women’s representation at every level of politics.
Working with five partner organisations, we're running an inspiring programme of free training that will equip women with the knowledge, skills and confidence to stand for election, as well as supporting more women to become leaders and campaigners in their local communities.
The campaign will run for the next three years and all training is FREE thanks to the support of our funder, Comic Relief.
Our first event, Equal Power for BAME women, is in Birmingham on Friday 28 February. So if you’re a BAME woman considering getting into politics, be sure to register here.
To find out about our other upcoming events, all you need to do is sign up to our Equal Power mailing list below and we’ll send you exclusive updates on all the workshops, peer support circles, campaign actions and more.
Whether you want to become an MP, a school governor, a magistrate or campaign in your community, there’s something for everyone.
