That's a Wrap: Bicycle Community Challenge Results
2023 BCC Infographic
Bicycling has many benefits for both individuals and our community. Intercity Transit celebrates cycling with the Bicycle Community Challenge (BCC), which encourages the community to participate in our events to receive rewards.
Bike Month and the 2023 BCC are over and the summer bicycling season is here! With the Earth Day Market Ride, the Youth Bike Challenge and the BCC combined, 842 riders logged rides on a total of 8,248 days and pedaled over 82,000 miles in May!
Now that we have tallied the results, we?ve mailed out prizes and coupons. Items were sent during the month of June, so please be patient and keep an eye on your mailbox if you haven?t received them yet. Thanks so much for being part of the BCC community and keep on pedaling!
If you missed out this year, make sure to participate in 2024 ? you?ll be glad you did. Look for opportunities to participate in next year?s BCC by visiting bcc.intercitytransit.com [ [link removed] ].
Zero-Fare: Just Get On and Go
Zero-Fare Headsign
Did you know that our fixed-route bus service and Dial-A-Lift have been zero-fare since January 1, 2020? This means that you don't pay a fare to ride, making it easier than ever to just get on and go!
Zero-fare is one of the ways Intercity Transit is demonstrating our commitment to the community after exploring ways to make fare collecting easier and faster, to reduce delays, and simplify access for our riders.
