Delaware patients now have increased access to safe, affordable anesthesia care, according to American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. The state is the latest to opt out from federal regulations that require physician supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

The American Nurses Association's director for the Center for Ethics and Human Rights said: &ldquo;This position statement is long overdue, but very much necessary&hellip;. RWJF&rsquo;s Health Data For Action (HD4A) program will support innovative research that uses data to answer important research questions and inform health policy by connecting researchers with data they need.
