Patriot,

It's just getting worse and worse at the Department of "Justice."

Since taking power in January 2021, the shameless weaponization
of the U.S. Department of Justice against American citizens has
become crystal clear.

It all started with the "shock and awe" campaign of prosecutions
of January 6 protesters. . .

. . . followed by the willful and deliberate abuse of the Patriot
Act and other domestic terrorism statutes targeting concerned
parents expressing concerns about their children's safety. . .

. . . and then there was the targeting of churches, crisis
pregnancy centers, and peaceful pro-life protesters. . .

It seems obvious the DOJ under Merrick Garland has been the Biden
regime's personal political weapon.

If there was ever any doubt about it, that doubt was surely ended
when, this month, Garland's DOJ did two things:

1) It indicted the former President of the United States, quite
possibly Joe Biden's biggest political rival in next year's
election, with improper handling of classified information that
under the Presidential Records Act were his own records;

2) And it effectively dropped an investigation into Hunter
Biden's tax crimes, gun crimes, drug crimes, and most critically,
bribery crimes by charging him with mere misdemeanors that allow
him to never serve a day in jail.

Now, IRS whistleblowers have come forward and alleged the DOJ
acted politically and corruptly to end the Hunter Biden
investigation. According to them, prosecutors overrode the
recommendation of senior IRS investigators and others in the
Justice Department to charge Biden with felonies rather than
misdemeanors.

On top of that, newly revealed evidence shows that Hunter Biden
repeatedly invoked his father's name in attempting to pursue
lucrative business deals in both China and Ukraine, including
texts where Hunter threatened Chinese business associates with
"reprisals" at the hands of his father, who he said was standing
by his side as he made the threats.

These aren't ordinary crimes, but serious allegations of
influence-peddling involving the manipulation of federal policy.

And there is no way the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, was
not aware of the cases against the President's son.

Just last week, Hunter Biden appeared at the state dinner for the
Indian Prime Minister, mingling with Garland himself, just after
the Justice Department just let Biden off with a slap on the
wrist.

Hunter Biden's conduct was so serious that had he been any
ordinary citizen, he would have faced multiple felonies.

And the fact the Justice Department itself intervened in these
cases against the president's son demonstrates a willful effort
to protect Joe Biden and thus interfere in the 2024 election.

This is an eminently impeachable offense. You might recall the
Democrats impeached President Trump on the allegation that Trump
interfered in the 2020 election by suggesting Ukraine investigate
the firing of a prosecutor who had been investigating Hunter
Biden's influence-peddling crimes in Ukraine.

And of course the videotape shows Joe Biden later boasting about
calling for the firing of the prosecutor.

So, tell me, who was interfering here?

Tell the House of Representatives right now: investigate Merrick
Garland's role in suppressing the Hunter Biden probe and, if the
allegations are true, impeach Merrick Garland.

Impeachment is an extraordinary remedy that should only be used
in extraordinary circumstances.

This is such a case. The Justice Department is America's top law
enforcement agency, and when the cops are the crooks, interfering
in an upcoming presidential election, there is no other remedy.

This is not a weak "neglect of duty" case, but a willful,
deliberate effort to shield the President and his family from
justice.

According to reports, six witnesses can reportedly back up claims
made by U.S. Attorney David Weiss that he was denied the special
counsel status to prosecute Hunter Biden.

If true, that means Garland lied when he said the U.S. Attorney
had full authority to bring a case. In fact, Weiss was
stonewalled.

And remember, this doesn't just involve Hunter Biden. This
involves President Joe Biden.

What was the extent to which Biden was involved in these deals?
Did Joe Biden know about these financial transactions and the tax
evasion that went with them? Did his underlings intervene to
protect his son from the kind of apolitical investigation we were
promised?

Now we have IRS whistleblowers saying that is exactly what
happened.

Congress has a constitutional obligation to investigate this
obstruction of justice and bring impeachment if appropriate -
which seems all but certain.

Tell Congress right now to investigate and impeach Attorney
General Merrick Garland if these allegations are true.

Executive Director, Campaign for Liberty

P.S. This is a slam-dunk case, but you know that unlike
impeachments involving Donald Trump, Congress needs to hear from
their constituents demanding justice.

Take one moment right now to tell your representative to
investigate and impeach Merrick Garland.
