If your inbox is anything like ours, it’s filled with emails from politicians telling you that the sky will fall if you don’t give them money before a made-up deadline. We never want to do that to you – that’s why we’re sending you this email to break down this month’s FEC filing deadline, in straight talk. Have we already lost the election if we don’t make our Q2 goal by the end of the week–no, of course not. Is the FEC deadline very real and very important? Yes, it is. Getting behind on our fundraising targets now, means we will be significantly disadvantaged in our competitiveness for 2024. (Really.) Republicans sense weakness, and we won’t be able to plan and budget efficiently for the long term. We need to raise at least 4 million dollars to hold this seat–that can’t all come in during October of 2024. We owe it to Hillary’s supporters to be honest – and to do everything we can to put us in the best position to hold this seat we worked so hard to win.

With control of the House of Representatives hanging in the balance, we’re not willing to leave anything to chance, especially with experts agreeing that there’s no path to retaking the Democratic majority without holding this seat.
