It’s no secret that we’re big fans of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) around here. We know it’s not only poised to put our country on a fast pass to a clean energy future, but it’ll also help millions of Americans save money and reduce their carbon footprints in their own homes, too.
But of the few Americans who’ve heard about the IRA, only about 22 percent think they’ll personally benefit from this landmark climate bill.
John, that couldn’t be further from the truth, so that’s exactly why the U.S. Department of Energy just created the Energy Savings Hub — your one-stop shop to see which tax credits and rebates you and your families qualify for by upgrading your home and going electric.
President Biden and our SEEC Members are putting money back in Americans’ pockets just for going green. On average, households can save $10,600 by accessing initiatives to electrify their homes — and doing so will help our country halve our greenhouse gas emissions as early as 2030.
We need to get our message out there louder about all the money that can go straight into the pockets of average Americans, but we’re currently being drowned out by our opponents. That’s why we need YOU to support our efforts to make sure the entire country hears about this.
