I’m reaching out today because our team is facing an important goal we can’t afford to fall short on. Friday marks our end-of-quarter deadline when campaigns and committees across the country will be required to make their fundraising numbers public.

This is a big deal, team. If we can’t prove that we have the funds to fight back, we’ll make ourselves vulnerable to GOP attacks.

That’s where you come in. Since I’ve been onboard at the DGA, reliable grassroots supporters like you have stuck by us when we needed it most – helping us flip key states from red to blue in 2020 and 2022. And right now, a generous group of donors has offered to triple-match gifts up to our $100k EOQ goal. So I’m reaching out to you ahead of our biggest deadline so far this year.

Right now, Democrats are up against a GOP-controlled House scheming to block President Biden’s agenda, a conservative-majority Supreme Court hellbent on stripping our fundamental rights, and a growing slate of extremist Republicans jumping into the presidential race alongside Donald Trump.

Democratic governors are our last line of defense against the far-right’s attempts to pass whatever radical legislation they can at the state level. Our very democracy is on the line. We cannot afford to lose our blue firewall in the states.

We have three governors offices in play in November, and another 13 in 2024. We can only win key races with your help.
