I’ll be honest: You’re going to hear a lot from me and my team this week. Can you chip in a $3 donation, then continue reading about why this week is so important for our campaign?
- Friday at midnight marks our quarterly FEC deadline, when we’re legally required to publicize our fundraising numbers from the last three months. This is a win for transparency in campaign fundraising, but it also means everyone, including our Republican opponent Scott Baugh, will be going over our results. It’s an important opportunity to show strength.
- This has been an eventful month for our campaign! I’ve been honored to receive the backing of so many great members of our community, like Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, former Rep. Harley Rouda, and national organizations, like EMILYs List. It’s clear we are gaining momentum, and it couldn’t come at a more critical moment.
- Keeping CA-47 blue is vital for Democrats’ effort to win the House majority. We only need to flip five seats, but battleground districts like ours must stay blue in order to succeed. It’s also important that communities in CA-47 continue to benefit from representation that works for them. I’m dedicated to continuing the legacy Katie Porter is leaving behind.
