John,
In case you missed the latest banger to come from the GOP's intellectual leader, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, it seems that her and the Shadow Speaker, Marjorie Taylor Greene, are openly feuding and trading insults and obscenities on the House floor and through the media. Simply stunning.
But beyond the no doubt very intriguing and important reasons why Greene would call Boebert a "little bit--" on the House floor (the stated reason thus far has been because "she [Boebert] has genuinely been a nasty little bit-- to me" so...alrighty then), this past week has showcased not only how ineffective Boebert is in Congress, but also how destructive she is to her own party.
Boebert forced a vote on her baseless article of impeachment against President Joe Biden, and the bill was sent to committee and not considered on the floor. Many Republicans facing tight races in November do not want to vote on this; Boebert has vowed to pursue a floor vote, regardless.
In fact, she has cited the highest possible authority as justification for her quest to impeach Joe Biden: God.
