Here we go, team.
The nonpartisan election analysts at the Cook Political Report just released a report stating that Eric’s race will be the single most competitive House race in Illinois.
As it stands, they’re giving Eric a “narrow advantage” despite being the incumbent in this race. That’s likely because the GOP has made no secret about the fact that they’ll be spending big money on attacks against us.
Remember: In 2022, Eric was elected with just
51.8% of the vote, and the outcome was never a foregone conclusion. If we learned anything in our last campaign, it's that early resources can have a huge impact in shaping the dynamics of this race. Strong early numbers could mean these larger super PACs are more wary of challenging us.
We’re just three days from our critical quarterly fundraising deadline, and our team needs an additional
$12,500 to meet our mark.
We have some ground to make up, so we're humbly asking you to make a contribution of $3, $10, or even $25 before this second-quarter FEC deadline hits. With the stakes so high and the race so close – any amount will make a difference. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Let’s meet our goal and defend IL-17 – thank you.
