Sherrod was one of the first people to welcome me to the Senate, and I like and respect him for a lot of reasons. He's a passionate sports fan, a dedicated father and grandfather – and above all, a fierce champion for Ohioans and workers across the country.
He'll work with anyone and do whatever it takes to best serve the folks he represents. He's not afraid to call out big banks and corporate special interests who are putting their own profits before the American people. And frankly, we need more leaders like him in Washington.
But right now, Sherrod needs our help. He's facing his toughest race ever – and he's falling short of his critical end-of-quarter goal. I said I’d try to help him raise another $25,000 by midnight to make up the gap, so please, I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or more now to help Sherrod win in Ohio and defend the Senate?
