Friend -
This weekend marked the one-year anniversary of the historic Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court decision. The ruling determined the U.S. Constitution does not confer a right to abortion and correctly returned the authority to decide abortion policy to state legislatures.
This was a monumental victory for the pro-life movement and the results have been overwhelming. The biggest beneficiaries of the Dobbs case? Babies. Since June 2022, the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List estimates that with the subsequent passage of pro-life laws, nearly 200,000 lives a year will be spared a brutal death at the hands of the abortion industry.
In 2022, 43 pro-life laws were passed by state legislatures to protect unborn children and as a result 88 abortion facilities nationwide shut their doors for good.
The value of human life is not subjective. Children who are unwanted or inconvenient have just as much of a right to life as you or I. In Congress, I am proud to protect these lives by sponsoring pro-life bills such as the
Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act.
While this is an anniversary to celebrate, even after the Dobbs decision, the fight to protect innocent life continues. Always know that you can count on me to lead the charge.
