*Project description: *The proposed University of St. Thomas Multipurpose Arena will be a redevelopment of an approximately 6-acre site located on the University of St. Thomas South Campus in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The proposed project will include a multi-purpose competition venue for the University's hockey and basketball programs with capacity for approximately 4,000 to 5,500 spectators. The project is also expected to include practice facilities, coaching offices, locker rooms, and student athlete support services and will host other university events such as commencement ceremonies, academic convocations, speakers, career fairs, and other events for the university. The new facility will be designed to meet a LEED Silver rating. There are three existing campus buildings with adjacent surface parking lots on site that will be demolished.

*Project description: *The Montrose AUAR study area consists of approximately 5,300 developable acres surrounding the City of Montrose. It is proposed to include low, medium, and high-density residential, industrial, and commercial development. The project includes construction of roads, homes, businesses, trails, parks, ponds, and utilities such as storm water, wastewater, and water supply piping. This AUAR also analyzes the impacts of approximately 1,700 acres of development that exists or is in a various stage of approval and 100 acres of railroad right-of-way, for a total analysis area of approximately 7,100 acres. Pursuant to Minnesota Rules, part 4410.3610, subpart 7, regardless of any significant changes an AUAR and plan for mitigation must be revised every five years until all development in the study area has received final approval. This report serves as an update to the previous AUAR Update, which was published in 2018.

*MnDOT US 52 PEL Study (SP 2506-86) - Opportunity for public to comment on Purpose & Need*

*Notice description: *The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) initiated a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study for US Highway 52 (US 52). US 52 connects the Twin Cities Metropolitan region to Rochester, Minnesota. This PEL study will focus on the segment of US 52 from Hader to Zumbrota; an eight-mile length of roadway. The purpose of this PEL study is to provide a review of alternatives for consideration in a future environmental review process. The Purpose and Need of the study drive the development of alternatives, which could include access modifications. Alternatives will be analyzed with specific evaluation criteria established as part of the study's documentation. The Purpose and Need and Evaluation Criteria Technical Memorandum is available for public comment. See link to additional information to access the document. A hard copy of the document will be available at the Zumbrota Public Library and the Van Horn Public Library.
