Sunrise Movement Houston
I am thrilled to announce that my campaign has been endorsed by Sunrise Movement Houston! Sunrise Movement is a youth-fueled organization that works to fight climate change through activism and political engagement. They are a catalyst to social change and do vitally important work to advance progress in this city.
A Green New Houston means a voting Houston.
The only way that we make Houston a household name in clean energy - and build thousands of clean energy jobs - is by electing representatives who will fight for us. Engagement is the most crucial aspect of our democracy and it’s our job to help fuel that fire. It’s imperative that everyone takes part in the process, otherwise the store-bought politicians will stay in power.
It’s like I always say - politics is not a spectator sport. We can’t watch it play out from our couches. Young people, like the folks at the Sunrise Movement, help us fight to make this movement possible.

99 Coalition
I am so thankful to 99 Coalition for their endorsement! 99 Coalition works to elect leaders who will improve the lives of the 99%. This is another national endorsement and a reminder that our movement is felt across the country.
The 1% has gotten too powerful - Why?
There is no reason that most of the world’s wealth should be held by robber barons like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Especially while everyday Americans are struggling to pay their bills, receive medical care, cover rent, and live comfortably. The 1%’s power comes from their ability to slap away regulations by buying our politicians. It’s not a difficult code to crack. A quick search will reveal that some of the largest political contributions come in the form of dark money through massive companies.
It’s time to return power to the 99%.
We can start by electing representatives who won’t be bought and paid for by lobbyist or special interest dollars. Elections shouldn’t be about who has the most money - they should be about who will do the best job representing the people. The newly drawn District 07 is ripe for bold change and primed to elect someone who won’t be bought.
Let’s win this thing in March!

Lone Star Left
Lone Star Left has graciously given my campaign their endorsement in the race for TX-07!
As an undoubtedly Progressive newsletter, Lone Star Left understands the massive potential for change in this state. They also see the work our movement is doing to fight back against dark and dirty money in our politics. Across the district, folks are fed up with a status quo that fails them at every turn. They are sick of their cries for progress falling on deaf ears and are hungry for the change our movement brings.
Lobbyists shouldn’t be determining policy decisions - we should.
Why are children being terrorized in schools, and yet anyone can just walk into Wal-Mart and purchase a firearm? Why have prescription drug prices gone up while wages have gone down? Here’s a hint: check out who’s giving money to your representatives. Big lobbyists and special interest groups have simply gotten too powerful. They need to be stopped!

Blue America
Blue America has given me their endorsement! Their mission to make Congress work for the people is right in line with the work our movement is doing.
We can do better in Congress.
District 07 residents and all Americans should be seeing their lives improved daily by the decisions made in the Capital. Instead, we get a whole lot of nothing. That’s because politicians have largely stopped working for the people. Lobbyist groups are funding Congressional re-election campaigns and taking our politics hostage in return. They’ve reserved every seat at the table and we can’t seem to get a word in edge-wise.
Let’s fight back!
The silver lining to this entire unfortunate operation is that we can fight it, and we don’t even need big money’s help! Our movement is stronger than the power of dark and dirty money because we’ve got the people on our side. Help me end the reign of lobbyists and special interest groups in Congress. Help me fight for universal background checks, Medicare for all, and a greener Houston.
It will just take a little elbow grease and a lot of votes. Let’s make these changes a reality!

I signed the pledge - it’s time for term limits!
It’s really that simple. I’m running for Congress because I want to make a lasting impact on this district and this nation. It should be the standard for every representative - but unfortunately it isn’t.
Too many politicians look at their office as a career steppingstone and a way to reach the top of the food chain. That’s why I’ve joined hundreds of candidates and elected officials nationwide in signing the pledge to support Congressional term limits. Nobody needs to be in Congress for life and it’s imperative that younger generations are given the opportunity to make real change.
Gridlock and snails-pace legislating has become the norm in our nation’s capital. It’s giving the career politicians and talking heads plenty to squabble about - but meanwhile it’s you and I who have to deal with it. Enough is enough!

Get involved! We will be holding a phonebank for change this evening at 6 PM at our office on 6220 Westpark Dr. in Houston.
Grassroots campaigns like ours are built on hard work and community. Races are won by talking to voters and we are planning to call over 1000 people every day until election day. Help us make calls and build this movement to its fullest potential.
Politics shouldn’t be pay-to-play!
The status quo has failed each and every one of us. nobody is helped by this system! We deserve better and can accomplish better by actively fighting for what we need.
