Donald Trump’s latest budget proposal is intended to cause harm to seniors and working families while handing hundreds of billions of dollars to millionaires, billionaires, and the military industrial complex.
From cuts to environmental protections that are meant to keep our communities safe from corporate polluters to cuts to critical housing programs that support low-and no-income families, we must fight back against the cruel agenda of this administration.
Just take a quick look at some of the cuts that the administration is proposing that would impact millions of US families:

$1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (including cuts to long-term care for seniors)

$135 billion in cuts to Medicare prescription drug coverage

$75 billion in cuts to Social Security disability programs

$180 billion in cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and $1.7 billion in cuts to school meals for low-income children

$170 billion in cuts to college student loan programs
And why is Trump cutting programs that millions of families rely on to put food on our tables and a roof over our heads? Well, he wants to double down on his tax scam for the rich, increasing it from $1.9 trillion to $3 trillion, while also adding billions of dollars more to a runaway military budget that acts as a slush fund for military contractors.
