What are Virginia NAP Tax Credits?
Virginia's Neighborhood Assistance Program ([link removed]) (NAP) encourages businesses, trusts, and individuals to make donations to approved 501(c)(3) organizations. In return for a contribution, you may receive a tax credit equal to 65% of the donation. This credit can be applied against state income tax liability.

How does this work?
GFAC is an approved nonprofit organization for the Neighborhood Assistance Program. For a minimum gift of $500, an individual donor may be eligible to receive a 65% tax credit against VA State income tax. The maximum allowable gift for individuals in VA is $125,000. For businesses, the minimum donation eligible for tax credits is $616 per year with no maximum donation eligible for credits.
