John, congratulations are in order! We’re proud to share that the United Steelworkers (USW) 2023 Paul Wellstone Award recipient is Congressman Sanford Bishop.
Every year, the USW presents this award to elected officials and citizens to honor their strong support of organized labor. This is a huge honor for Congressman Bishop, but he knows there’s still so much left to accomplish for our country’s workers.
It’s critical that we continue our fight for paid family and medical leave and child care, to protect Medicare and Medicaid, and to raise the minimum wage.
