A Full Spectrum of Support

Because of you, Doorways supports survivors where they are, offering personalized services both within our facilities and out in the community. Through our 24-hour hotline, we are always just a phone call away.

When someone seeks a forensic exam and medical care after a sexual assault or domestic violence, a Doorways' Hospital Accompaniment Response Program (HARP) advocate can meet them at the hospital.

When someone is experiencing intimate partner violence in our community, our mobile advocates can meet them there, helping to connect them with further resources like our Revive counseling program.

Doorways' court advocates' offices are in the Arlington courthouse, so advocates are ready and waiting for individuals and families needing help seeking protective orders and navigating the legal system.

If someone needs emergency shelter to escape imminent danger, our doors are open 24/7 to ensure they can get to safety immediately. In shelter, counselors provide support services throughout each client's journey based on their unique needs and goals.

Those services include a Children's Services, provided by a dedicated team of child and family counselors, ensuring that every member of the family has the support they need.

When survivors are ready to move beyond shelter, Doorways' services continue in their new home through our HomeStart Supportive Housing Program.

And our Prevention and Outreach program connects with kids and youth across our community to cultivate a culture of safety and respect to make intimate partner violence less likely to occur in the first place.

This comprehensive spectrum of support is only possible with your donations, which make up at least half of Doorways' budget in any given year. We can't do it without you!
