This weekly digest is a new method to communicate updates, initiatives and policy changes from the Aging and Adult Services Division (AASD) and Disability Services Division (DSD) in a simplified way. * *Summary:* The recently approved EW renewal includes changes to family caregiver services to better align with caregiver services offered through other programs in the state. These changes apply to family caregiver services through AC, ECS, EW and MHM.

* *Effective date:*?July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2028
* *Summary:*?CMS approved DHS? application for renewal of EW. The EW plan is effective July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2028. DHS has not implemented the changes in this eList yet. To implement these approved changes for EW, we must update our policy manuals and MMIS.

* *Summary:*?CMS approved DHS? application for renewal of the CAC Waiver. The CAC Waiver plan is effective April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2028. DHS has not implemented the changes in this eList yet. To implement these approved changes for EW, we must update our policy manuals and MMIS.
