Iran—the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism—remains Israel and America’s greatest long-term threat in the Middle East.
This February, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran enriched uranium to 83.7% at its Fordow facility, just shy of the 90% level thought necessary to build a bomb.
In March, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley told Congress, “From the time of an Iranian decision [to build a bomb] … Iran could produce fissile material for a nuclear weapon in less than two weeks.
And Iran’s nuclear threat is only part of the danger.
Just this month, the regime unveiled a new hypersonic missile that it boasted can hit Tel Aviv just 400 seconds after launch.
And since January 2021, there have been more than 80 Iranian drone and rocket attacks on Americans in Syria and Iraq, killing two Americans and injuring dozens more.
Iran is a comprehensive threat that requires a comprehensive solution. That is why I’m writing to ask for your help today.
Iran remains the root of the challenges facing America and Israel in the Middle East.
The regime’s leaders continue to call for Israel’s destruction.
They continue to conduct ballistic missile tests.
They continue to fund and arm terrorists throughout the Middle East.
A nuclear Iran would pose a direct danger to American interests and an existential threat to our ally Israel.
That's why we need your support. By working with AIPAC, you help ensure America’s leaders — on both sides of the aisle — stand with Israel to help keep our ally safe and secure.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
