Hi team,

This month I’ve been reminded over and over again all the reasons I’m running to represent CA-30 in Congress:

From joining my LGBTQ+ community as we celebrate Pride and resist hateful extremism, to the remembrance of Juneteenth and the ongoing fight for racial justice, to one year since the overturning of Roe, the month has got me fired up for each and every battle that lies ahead.

But I can’t do it alone, and if we’re going to ensure our country fulfills its promise of opportunity for all, especially for women, people of color, our LGBTQ+ community, and all marginalized people — I need you in this fight with me.

Let’s end this month STRONG by helping me hit our $70,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal by Friday so we can take back the House and secure a brighter, more equitable future for all.

As I reflect on this month, I’m also reminded that change has never come from the bottom down. Change happens through persistent, ongoing, and collective action that refuses to concede or give up hope.

From the Stonewall uprising to trans resistance, from the Civil Rights movement to the ongoing battle to protect our right to vote, from the #WomanLifeFreedom movement in Iran, to the Women’s Marches to today — there are so many movements where we can draw inspiration.

These movements have guided my activism for the past two decades, and I’m ready to bring their message to Congress, but it doesn’t happen without all of us coming together to get it done. Chip $5 or any amount that makes sense for you ahead of our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline to get this campaign to the finish line so we can start delivering real, transformative change.
