Elaine and I have been married for 15 years. During that time, I’ve never seen her give less than 100% to any challenge she took on.

We met in the Navy, where she was often the only woman in the room and later led a combat-ready unit of 400 sailors. Then she built her own small business, the innovative and imaginative Mermaid Factory, which became a highlight of our community in Norfolk.
And she ran for office in a Republican district the political pundits didn’t think she could win. So she worked hard and proved them wrong by flipping this seat by 2.3 points.
Now, I’m proud to see her serve in Congress where she fights every day to make our country better for the next generation -- including our daughter, Violette.
Elaine has always given 100% to serving her community. So this Valentine’s Day, Violette and I want to surprise Elaine by showing her that we support her 100% too.
Elaine’s team tells me she’s falling short of her February fundraising goal, so we set our own goal of bringing in 200 donations of $14 to help her catch up. Can we count on you to help us?
