This isn’t the news I was hoping to share today, but it’s important to me to be honest with my supporters, and also because I need my team: if our numbers don’t pick up, we won’t hit our critical quarterly fundraising goal ahead of the FEC filing deadline, which is in just four days.

I know this team gives it their all, and when we set ambitious goals, we run the risk of coming up short. But with the House majority at stake in this district, we need serious resources to fight off Republican efforts to unseat me before the end of this quarter.
