Matt Dolan’s ad launch <[link removed]>
continues to receive statewide and national attention!

* Last week, Matt Dolan became the first candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio to
launch a statewide ad buy. Dolan is taking the fight right to Sherrod Brown,
using the out of touch Senator’s own words against him in an ad that features
Matt’s trip to the border with Ohio Law Enforcement
* Fox News: “As he runs for re-election in a crucial 2024 Senate showdown
that may determine if Republicans win back the chamber's majority, longtime
Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown is coming under a new attack over border
security, the drug crisis, and crime. Former prosecutor and Republican state
lawmaker Matt Dolan, who's one of the two major Republican candidates running
to challenge Brown next year, is launching a major ad blitz in Ohio targeting
the incumbent senator.”
* The Washington Times: “Republican Matt Dolan is looking to soften up
Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown’s support in Ohio by taking him to task on
immigration. In the first statewide ad of his 2024 Senate campaign, Mr. Dolan
says Mr. Brown’s consistent support for Mr. Biden’s agenda has ‘opened our
borders, created the worst violent crime in decades and allowed fentanyl to
pour into Ohio communities.’ The ad then turns to video footage of Mr. Brown
saying the issue of immigration is not front and center in a lot of voters’
minds — ‘except people on the far right.’”

NBC News: “Republican state Sen. Matt Dolan announced a new statewide ad
campaign on Tuesday, releasing a minute-long ad targeting Brown on immigration,
which will air on TV, radio and digital platforms, according to a press release
from Dolan's campaign. The ad features footage of Brown's interview on Meet the
Press in December, where he said, ‘I don’t hear a lot about immigration from
voters except people on the far right that always want to gain political
advantage by talking about it.’ The ad then cuts to Dolan standing along the
southern border and he says, ‘I'm at our southern border today because Sherrod
Brown is dead wrong. From violent crime to sex trafficking and deadly fentanyl,
open borders are a direct threat to Ohio families.’”



The Senate budget produced by Matt Dolan and the Senate Finance Committee
earns strong conservative accolades.

* The balanced budget produced in the State Senate includes more than $3
billion in tax relief for Ohio taxpayers, families and businesses. It expands
school choice, funds police, reduces spending and even provides much-needed
investments in mental health services.
* The budgets has been praised by Americans for Tax Reform, Americans for
Prosperity, the Buckeye Institute and conservative groups across Ohio.
