As anybody in Canterbury knows, farming is the backbone of New Zealand’s economy and I am proud that our farmers are the best in the world. Selwyn has one of the fastest-growing GDPs in the country, and that is thanks to the hard work done by our rural sector. However, we know there are many, many challenges currently facing our farmers.



I am hosting a public meeting with National’s Spokesperson for Agriculture, Hunting & Fishing, and Trade, Todd McClay, on July 4 at 5:30pm and I’d love to see you there!
