As
Co-Chair of the Forward Party, I write today to extend a thank you for
your continued support, engagement, and leap of faith
forward.
At this early
stage, it may feel like the
odds are stacked against us. I know this feeling well. I was the first
challenger to defeat an incumbent governor of New Jersey since the
adoption of the 1947 state constitution. This won’t be the first or
the last time that we experience this feeling together.
The journey ahead is one of long twists and turns. What
matters most is the company. When I was one of only four women among
50 governors serving in 1994, I hoped to set an example that others
would follow. It was encouraging to see former
Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts Kerry Healey run, similarly as a
Republican in a traditionally blue state. Now, I’m honored that she
has joined me on the Forward Party Board of
Directors.
With your help, we can continue our growth and return power back
to the people. Before the end of this week, please make
a contribution to our national movement.
Finishing the first half of
2023 on a high note will allow us to keep momentum into year’s
end.
Your
contribution, no matter the amount, will empower us to elevate more
leaders to fight for solutions NOT partisan politics.
