The conservatives on the Supreme Court are at it again, John.

Most of the Supreme Court headlines over the past few months have been about the lavish gifts Justice Clarence Thomas received from billionaire Harlan Crow for two decades.

But now, ProPublica is reporting that in 2008, Justice Samuel Alito accepted a six-figure gift of private jet travel from Republican billionaire Paul Singer, whose hedge fund has had cases before the Supreme Court at least 10 times since.

I'm leading the effort in Congress to reform the Supreme Court by authoring a package of bills — including a bill to create a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices — that are needed now more than ever. Will you chip in to have my back as I fight against this blatant corruption?

This ultraconservative majority is bought and paid for by extreme right-wing special interests. They've got billionaires' backs, while they take away the rights of everyone else.

No one is above the law. The highest court in the land shouldn’t have the lowest ethical standards. We cannot get used to this. This cannot become normal.
