You probably have heard that we have a critical fundraising deadline approaching this Friday, June 30th. We need to raise a lot more ahead of this deadline. Running a re-election campaign is still very expensive unfortunately, and I'm eager to get to work connecting with voters in the district again.
In the California State Assembly, I wrote and passed landmark legislation pioneering all vote-by-mail elections and combating dark money in state campaigns. I have always been a fierce fighter for our Democracy, and I ran for Congress to keep working on these issues at the federal level, where our Democracy is under attack daily.
