Why Submit a Workshop Proposal? Your unique experience and expertise help build up our industry! 💪 Leading a workshop at the NPH Conference is your chance to get creative, share what you’ve been working on, and do your part to deepen and strengthen our collective work toward housing and racial justice in the Bay Area! Get Your Ideas Flowing! Do you have ideas on how the affordable housing industry can achieve impact? Do you have timely industry knowledge on processes and/or updates related to our collective work? 🏘️🧾 What transformative solutions should we embrace in our field? How can we strengthen sustainability? 🌿 |
|
📑 Workshop Frameworks: All workshops are required to directly and explicitly discuss ways to advance racial equity and housing justice. And please make sure your workshop proposal grounds the discussion around one or both of the following frameworks: - Achieving Impact and Transformative Solutions (Does your workshop offer new and transformative solutions that lead to more equitable, efficient, and impactful outcomes? Does it look at systemic change?)
- Strengthening Sustainability (Does your workshop address timely and current issues impacting affordable housing policy, development, finance, narrative, homelessness, onsite services, etc.? Does it overcome sector challenges?)
