Before what I’m sure will be a busy week gets underway, I want to ask for your support to help hit our grassroots fundraising goal by Friday night. Give me a moment to explain why.

You see, after Friday’s end-of-quarter deadline, pundits and campaign operatives will be poring over FEC reports.

These reports include information on how much campaigns have raised and from how many donors. In short, they’re used as a barometer of how viable a campaign is.

As we approach our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline at the end of this week, many candidates across the country are busy dialing up donors to get a last-minute rush of cash before June 30.

But because of your continued grassroots support, I don’t need to spend hours on the phone.

Instead, I can focus on my work on the House Judiciary Committee. I can meet voters across California. And I can respond to the attacks from MAGA Republicans, who continue to go after me with full force.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you right now. I’m not taking a dime from corporate PACs, so when we do have these fundraising deadlines (especially Friday night’s quarterly deadline), I rely on this grassroots team to chip in to this campaign.
