Dream Circles: What Does Freedom and Dignity Mean to You?

This month, we celebrated Juneteenth, and in July we will celebrate Independence Day. Both holidays center around the idea of freedom. One day commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people, and the other celebrates the independence of a nation.

With that in mind, the Dream.Org crew would like to invite you to discuss freedom and dignity, and how they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Join Dream.Org’s resident community builders on Tuesday, June 27th at 11am PT / 2pm ET for a conversation on what freedom and dignity looks like for those who are impacted by the criminal-legal system.

We will be joined by members of our Justice team to learn about their own lived experiences and their relevance to ideas like freedom and dignity.
