[2023 Annual Advocacy Forum]([link removed])

Tomorrow is the big day! Make sure to join us for the virtual portion of AFSP's 14th Annual Advocacy Forum on Tuesday, June 27. The event will be broadcast from 12pm to 3pm ET at [facebook.com/afspnational]([link removed]) and [youtube.com/afspnational]([link removed]).

The Advocacy Forum is AFSP's largest effort to get Volunteer Advocates in front of members of Congress, so they can make their voices heard for suicide prevention and mental health. For this year's powerful virtual program, you can look forward to remarks from:

- Bob Gebbia (Chief Executive Officer, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention), on how we can all play a role in advocating for impactful mental health legislation at the federal, state, and local level
- Dr. Tamara Campbell (Executive Director, Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Department of Veterans Affairs), on the importance of suicide prevention for Veterans, Service members, and their families
- Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys Quarterback and Founder of the Faith Fight Finish Foundation) and Solomon Thomas (New York Jets Defensive Tackle and Co-Founder of The Defensive Line), on raising awareness and securing funds for mental health and suicide prevention work
- Brandon J. Johnson (MHS, MCHES, Public Health Advisor for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services), on youth mental health and suicide prevention

The event will also feature a keynote presentation from U.S. Congressman David Trone of Maryland, who co-founded and serves as the co-chair of the Bipartisan Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Task Force.

No matter where you are, you can tune in tomorrow to hear remarks from Congressman Trone and many other members of Congress, along with mental health and suicide prevention experts, and learn more about AFSP's [top public policy priorities]([link removed]). Then, [visit the AFSP Action Center]([link removed]) and use your voice to contact your members of Congress!

We can't wait to have you be part of this special event. Register today for this year's online program, and tune in tomorrow, 12pm ET, at [facebook.com/afspnational]([link removed]) and [youtube.com/afspnational]([link removed]).
