Do you have 5 minutes, folks? I was hoping to share a bit more about why I'm running for re-election to the U.S. Senate before asking for your support ahead of our end-of-quarter FEC deadline.

I grew up in a working-class family. My dad was a union lineman with the local utility company. My mom was a seamstress and an automobile tire factory worker.

I worked my way through college to earn a mechanical engineering degree and worked everywhere from the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base to AmeriCorps to the Albuquerque City Council, before running for Congress and eventually the U.S. Senate.

My priorities have always been rooted in making progress for New Mexico and our country. That’s why I’m fighting in the Senate to codify the right to contraception, cut taxes for workers and families, and create jobs. But I need your help to stay there and hold our Democratic Majority.
