Our first End-of-Quarter filing deadline of the campaign is this Friday at midnight, and it’s a doozy.

This is without a doubt the biggest hurdle we’ve faced so far, and the date our opponents have had circled on their calendars since we first launched this campaign for Senate.

Here’s why: Once we’ve filed, everyone – pundits, opponents, supporters – will be looking at our campaign through a microscope looking for strengths and weaknesses.

We’ve got a goal of bringing on 2,000 donors before Friday night. Can I count on you to chip in $25 so that our first FEC filing shows the strength of this grassroots team?

After we file, our numbers will be available for anyone and everyone to see how much money we raised, how many donors have contributed, our cash on hand – the works.

While some in our position might be nervous, I’m actually excited.

When everyone sees the strength fueling our campaign, I’m confident that even more people will join us. We’ll bring in more endorsements, recruit more volunteers, and send a message that this campaign has what it takes to win.

But first, we need to hit our 2,000 donor End-of-Quarter goal, which is why I’m asking: Will you please chip in $25 ASAP to help put us over the top?
