When Kevin McCarthy and the National Republican Congressional Committee meet up to see where their GOP investments will be most well-spent, they're going to be looking for signs of weakness in our FEC report.

Dear John,

At the end of this week, we'll be facing another end-of-quarter deadline. In a moment, I'm going to humbly ask you to pitch in toward our team's end-of-quarter fundraising goal, but first, I hope you'll let me explain why this upcoming deadline is so important.

At the end of each fiscal quarter, the Federal Election Commission requires campaigns to submit a public report detailing their fundraising numbers. Everyone is able to see this report — including election pollsters, journalists, and most critically, our Republican opposition.

When Kevin McCarthy and the National Republican Congressional Committee meet up to see where their GOP investments will be most effective, they're going to be looking for signs of weakness in our FEC report.

That’s why it is incredibly important that we file the strongest report possible to show them that we’re capable of defeating them again, just like we did last year.

Please, consider pitching in before our end-of-quarter deadline expires. If everyone reading this chips in even just $5, we’ll reach our goal in no time and show every Republican eyeing up this district that we’re an unstoppable force.

Thank you so much,
