Last year marked a significant milestone in our nation's commitment to gun safety. President Biden signed into law the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, a momentous and historic reform bill.

This legislation serves as a crucial step toward ensuring that firearms remain out of the hands of dangerous individuals.

But just last week, MAGA Republicans voted to overturn a crucial gun safety measure put forth by the Biden Administration. This measure aimed to close a dangerous loophole in stabilizing braces for firearms, allowing ordinary guns to be turned into more dangerous assault-style weapons.

I voted NO on this bill and will continue to vote down any other reckless legislation extremists threaten to bring to the floor.

We’re facing a gun violence epidemic in this country, and if we want to take more significant action, we must win back the House in 2024.
