In just a few days, campaigns like mine and Fight For Progress will be hustling to close fundraising gaps for our end-of-quarter deadline.

This is a big deal for my Senate campaign – it’s the FIRST public number we’ll report since we launched a few short days ago.

I’d be the first Black person elected to the Senate from Delaware. Pundits understand that our race is historic and they’ll use our fundraising number as a bellwether of our viability. With experts predicting a tough cycle for Democrats, it’s imperative that we show strength at every single deadline. This is especially true for a historic campaign like ours.
