There’s also a move by conservatives to cancel provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act which allow Medicare to negotiate with Big Pharma for lower prescription drug costs.

Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act millions of Americans on Medicare only have to spend $35/month on insulin. But pharmaceutical companies are spending big to lobby McCarthy and his allies, and one company even sued the Biden Administration to stop lower prescription costs.
