John — We always knew that winning this race would take hard work, and I need your help to do it.
I have a few critical reasons to share, but first, I have to ask you to make your first contribution to our campaign. Our very first public filing deadline is in just five days, and we have a $100,000 goal to meet!
- This is THE most competitive governor’s race of 2024. Sabato’s Crystal Ball and U.S. News & World Report agree that this will be “the marquee contest” of next year’s gubernatorial races. Crystal Ball rates it a TOSS-UP.
- North Carolina is a battleground state. NC was one of the tightest states in the 2020 election — Trump carried the state by just 1% of the vote. In fact, the outcome in 2020 was closer than any presidential election since 2008. Any statewide contest could come down to just a handful of votes.
- National Republicans are targeting NC. The path to a GOP presidential victory runs through our state. We expect the national GOP machine to go all out to boost Republican candidates up and down the ballot next year — and the MASSIVE funds they pour into our state will impact our race. That’s why we need your support.
John, we need to out-work, out-organize, and out-maneuver the GOP if we’re going to win this race. But if we don’t have the financial resources we need, we won’t be able to execute our campaign strategy effectively.
