Hi John,

You may not realize this, but it was exactly a year ago when Susan Collins helped to confirm William Barr as Donald Trump’s Attorney General.

The last year has been a wild ride for Barr -- clashing with Robert Mueller, ignoring a congressional subpoena, being held in contempt of Congress, and covering for the President during impeachment. But he may have just set the bar even lower.

If you are tired of a Senate that puts party of country, donate $20.20 to the Maine Dems today to help us defeat Susan Collins and Donald Trump in November. [ [link removed] ]

This past week Barr intervened in the sentencing of Trump buddy Roger Stone, causing all four prosecutors assigned to the case to withdraw. Is this what Collins meant when, prior to voting to confirm Barr, she said she believed it was “critically important to have an experienced, Senate-confirmed Attorney General to oversee the Mueller investigation and bring stability to the Department of Justice...”? Attorney General Barr has transformed into nothing but the personal fixer for Donald Trump, and Susan Collins seems none too bothered.

But this November we have a chance to sweep Trump, Barr, and Collins out of office and usher in Democrats up and down the ticket. It’s time to raise the bar again.

Will you join our fight and donate $20.20 to help us build our opposition to Trump and Collins? [ [link removed] ]

Thank you!

Jeff
