John,

Last week, I went on CNN to discuss our former President’s disregard for our nation’s secrets and the grave risk his actions pose to our national security.

The former President’s actions further cement my resolve as a member of the House Intelligence Committee to defend confidential information and protect our servicemembers.

If you support my work, I hope you’ll consider contributing to my campaign today. My team has a critical end-of-quarter FEC deadline in five days on June 30, so your contribution matters now more than ever.

As a former CIA officer, I used to collect the information and write the types of intelligence reports that the former President so cavalierly stored in boxes at his hotel. The precautions U.S. intelligence agencies take to safeguard America’s secrets are extraordinary — because this information is paramount to our national security. The idea that documents detailing our nuclear secrets would be haphazardly strewn across the floors of Mar-a-Lago is unthinkable.

This incident exemplifies why we need competent, experienced individuals leading our country.

I hope you will consider contributing to my campaign today so I can continue to protect our national security. In just five days, we will have to file our fundraising numbers for this FEC quarter, so your support could significantly impact how we finish the quarter.

I am grateful for your support,
Abigail
