ACLU Supporter – From near-total abortion bans to TRAP laws that target abortion providers and cut off access to care, it's crystal clear that our right to make decisions about our bodies – and our lives – is under attack. As our movement takes this fight to the courts, we need to remind Congress that they have a job to do, too. Send a special message to your members of Congress today: Urge them to stop state attacks on abortion access by supporting the Women's Health Protection Act. This week Dr. Yashica Robinson, a plaintiff in our challenge to the Alabama abortion ban, testified on Capitol Hill to show Congress just how critical this bill is. As an Alabama OB/GYN and abortion provider, Dr. Robinson gave them the bottom line: Abortion care is health care. And health care should always be patient-centered, without politicians interfering in decisions between a patient and provider. Let's make sure Congress hears her – and all of us – loud and clear. WHPA would fend off attacks like the ones we've seen in Alabama, Ohio, and Kentucky. It would safeguard the right to abortion nationwide, ensuring that everyone can make personal decisions without medically-unnecessary obstacles, no matter where they live. Urge Congress to safeguard our constitutional right to abortion. ACLU Supporter, you know the drill: An all-out attack on our rights means an all-out response. Thanks for taking action,
Georgeanne Usova
